Pro Purchase Program

The EXPED PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM puts our gear into the hands of hard-working and influential outdoor professionals (like you!). Members of our pro program will not only represent EXPED by using and showcasing our gear, but will also refer sales and traffic to our retail partners based on their positions as leaders and stewards within the outdoor industry.

How it works

Step 1: Apply

Fill out and submit the application form below. You will be asked to create a customer account if you do not have one already.

Step 2: Review

We will review your application within 7-10 business days. We are a small team here at EXPED so please be patient with us!

Step 3: Response

You will receive an approval decision via email. Please check your spam/ promotional folders if you do not see a response from us.

Step 4: Log in

Log into your customer account to begin shopping with your new pro discount. Eligible items will be discounted automatically.

Program Details

Eligibility

Outdoor Industry Professionals

  • Our Pro Purchase Program is available to residents in the United States only. 
  • Approved industry groups include (but are not limited to): specialty outdoor retail staff, guides/instructors, search and rescue, ski patrol, environmental non-profit staff, land agency staff (such as NPS, BLM, state parks), outdoor brand employees & more.

Military, First Responders, and Law Enforcement

If you are a current or former military member, first responder (EMT, firefighter, etc.) or a member of law enforcement, we offer a 25% discount on all eligible gear. Please use our pro deal application form to register for an account.

Media & Content Creators

At this time, we do not accept pro deal applications from members of the media or content creators/influencers.

We do have limited gear available by request for PR & affiliate purposes. If you wish to inquire about working with EXPED, please reach out to us via the appropriate channel below.

  • Content creators: Please visit our Affiliates page to learn more about how you can partner with EXPED and to apply for our Affiliate Program. 

Program Guidelines

Let's go over some important guidelines. 

  • Your pro discount is for YOU. Purchasing gear for others with your discount is prohibited and will result in your removal from the Program, which no one wants. Any exceptions, such as friends & family promotions, will be clearly communicated to everyone.
  • Gear may not be purchased via our Pro Purchase Program for resale.
  • Please do not discuss your EXPED pro deal status or share the details of your pro discount with others. If asked about your snazzy EXPED gear, refer them to expedusa.com where they can shop items online, apply to our Pro Purchase Program (if they are a fellow outdoor industry employee), or find a local EXPED dealer to shop in person.
  • Pricing and item availability for pro purchase may be subject to change based on inventory levels and demand.
  • Pro purchases are not eligible for return or exchange. All pro deal sales are final, but we make it up to you with really great deals on cool gear.
  • Program membership will be reevaluated on an annual basis. All pro discounts will expire on December 31st of each year, regardless of when you applied.
  • By submitting a Pro Purchase Program application, you agree to be added to our marketing email list. Don't worry, we won't flood your inbox. 
  • Access to pro deals is a privilege. EXPED reserves the right to terminate program membership at any time, for any reason.
